The short version: Ag-Rite is Agzaga's European-made net wrap line — blown-film construction with high UV resistance, strong edge coverage, and intensified elasticity. It comes in 8 sizes for 4' and 5' balers in two grades: standard Ag-Rite (the value pick) and Ag-Rite Ultimate (heavier-duty, built for extreme heat, humidity, and UV — a direct John Deere and Vermeer alternative).
Ag-Rite vs. Ag-Rite Ultimate
Same sizes, two duty ratings — pick by your climate and how tight you wrap.
Ag-Rite Net Wrap
- European-made, blown-film construction from high-quality resins
- High UV resistance with great edge coverage
- Intensified elasticity for secure, fast wrapping
- Round and square bales
Ag-Rite Ultimate
- More robust build of the same wrap — extra strength for tighter wrapping
- Made for high heat, high humidity, and high UV exposure
- The pick for corn stalks and wheat straw — stiff, abrasive stalks that punch through lighter net
- Comparable to John Deere and Vermeer wide-mesh net wrap at a direct price
| Ag-Rite | Ag-Rite Ultimate | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Everyday baling in most climates | Extreme heat, humidity & UV; tight wrapping |
| Grass hay | The sweet spot — strong, elastic, great edge coverage | Works, but usually more wrap than you need |
| Corn stalks & wheat straw | Fine for occasional bales | Recommended — the heavier build stands up to stiff, sharp stalk ends, and the tighter wrap keeps springy straw bales from loosening in storage |
| Construction | European blown-film, high-quality resins | Same process, heavier-duty build |
| Water resistance | Good — strong edge coverage | Better — tighter wrap sheds more water |
| Sizes | 48" & 51" (4' balers) · 64" & 67" (5' balers) · 7,000'–11,800' rolls | |
| Price per roll | $254–$320 | $259–$319 |
“So far pleased with way it went on bales, cutting was good…”

| Your baler | Roll width | Coverage | Roll lengths |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4-foot | 48" | Edge-to-edge | 9,840' or 11,800' |
| 51" | Over-the-edge | ||
| 5-foot | 64" | Edge-to-edge | 7,000' or 8,800' |
| 67" | Over-the-edge |
Longer rolls mean fewer roll changes during baling season; over-the-edge widths square up bale shoulders and shed weather better. Not sure? Call us at 1-888-249-7412.
Ag-Rite Net Wrap FAQs
What balers does Ag-Rite net wrap fit?
48" and 51" rolls fit 4-foot balers; 64" and 67" rolls fit 5-foot balers. The wider size in each pair (51" and 67") gives over-the-edge coverage for squarer shoulders and better weather protection.
What is the difference between Ag-Rite and Ag-Rite Ultimate net wrap?
Standard Ag-Rite is European-made blown-film net wrap with high UV resistance, strong edge coverage, and intensified elasticity — the value pick for most operations. Ag-Rite Ultimate is a heavier-duty version of the same wrap, built for high heat, high humidity, and high UV exposure. It wraps tighter, which improves water resistance and preserves hay quality longer, and is priced as a direct alternative to John Deere and Vermeer net wrap.
Which wrap should I use for corn stalks or wheat straw?
Go Ultimate. Corn stalks are stiff and sharp — the cut ends chew through lighter netting, especially when bales get moved a few times. Wheat straw bales are springy and want to expand after they leave the chamber. Ultimate's heavier build resists stalk punctures and its tighter wrap holds straw bales firm in storage. Standard Ag-Rite is the better value for grass hay and occasional straw.
Is Ag-Rite the same thing as "wide mesh" net wrap?
Same category, direct price. "Wide mesh" (or widemesh) is the term John Deere and Vermeer dealers use for premium full-width baler netting like CoverEdge™. Ag-Rite and Ag-Rite Ultimate are the same style of full-width roll netting, sized for the same 4' and 5' balers. If your baler manual calls for wide mesh net wrap, Ag-Rite fits.
How much does Ag-Rite net wrap cost?
Rolls start at $254 and top out around $320 depending on width and length. Bulk pricing is available on net wrap — for example, 8+ rolls and 16+ roll tiers on popular sizes — so cost per bale drops as you stock up.
How fast does it ship?
Orders usually arrive in 3–5 days, shipped from Agzaga in southwest Missouri to all lower 48 states.
